New Trailer Alert: Imoh Umoren's 'Children of Mud'

Film Director, Imoh Umoren released the trailer for his movie 'Children of the Mud' his 4th feature film. Written and Directed by Imoh Umoren, it stars Nollywood Veteran Liz Benson now Liz Ameye, Matilda Obaseki, BBA 2017 Housemate Bassey Ekpenyong, and some brilliant child actors.
Synopsis
It is a story about street kids who are thrown out by their families. Specifically it enters around Emem and her blind brother Miracle who are chased out of the house by their misguided Aunt and they go in search of a Miracle.
The story of street kids is a huge concern in Nigeria with kids of school age either hawking on the streets or forced to leave home.
'Children of Mud' is written by Imoh Umoren and is a collaborative effort between Rucksack Production and Grand Explorers with Ify Egbera and Dr Wale Boje as Producers.
The trailer got people talking and anticipating the movie as it looks so brilliant, cinematography looks superb.

James Abinibi releases the trailer for his feature film 'Mentally', Produced, written and Directed by James Abinibi, it stars Fran Donga, Toyin Aimakhu, Yaw, Rotimi Salami, Jude Chukwuka, Soma, Senator Comedian, Sunkanmi Omobolanle, Adekunle Gold, Woli Ariole, Chris Okagbue, Etinosa Idemudia, Eric Didie, Kunle Afod, e.t.c.
Synopsis
The movie centres on the life of Akin, who despite his mother's warnings, decides to relocate to Lagos where his only contact Emeka (a former school mate) promised him enormous opportunities through which he can have a better source of livelihood. His first experience in Lagos takes him on a journey - unprecedented, but eventually an eye opener. that makes him re-evaluate the choice he made.

Mary Lazarus debuts as a movie Producer with 'Dance to my Beat'

Mary Lazarus releases the trailer for her star studded production debut, directed by Paul Igwe, it stars Toyin Aimakhu, Joseph Benjamin, Mary Rhemmy Njoku, Mary Lazarus, Kehinde Bankole, Uzor Osimkpa, Oma Nnadi, Lilian Afegbai, e.t.c
Synopsis
Lamide, a jobless high class sociable lady mounts pressure on her Fiancé Raymond, a civil servant with a meagre salary to get married to her immediately or face her wrath.
Lamide who has made attending other people's parties and buying their Aso-Ebi her occupation, convinces Raymond to get a bank loan to fund their high class traditional marriage/wedding. She turns both ceremonies into a serious business by selling cheap Aso-Ebi materials at a very expensive rate, 80,000 naira.
There shall be no mercy or excuses as Lamide fully arms herself with a POS. The Aso-Ebi marketers hit town but Lamide fails to brace herself for what comes next after the wedding. Payback never sounded so good when it was time for Lamide to dance to Rhoda's beat.
The movie hits cinemas nationwide in Nigeria from the 22nd of September 2017.

Adeoluwa Owu releases the trailer for his movie 'Distraction', Written and Directed by Adeoluwa Owu, Produced by Adeoluwa Owu and Funsho Adebayo. It stars Odera Orji, Ayoola Ayolola, Ariyike Owouagba, Yemi Solade, Baaj Adebule, Bimbo Adebayo, Racheal Emem Isaac, e.t.c, Music by Goodness Emmanuel.
Distraction is a story about married couples and the problems they face in relationships and how a marriage could slowly drift apart if both parties don't work on it.

ARIMA is a short vignette film that underscores the psychological effects of RAPE on its victims. Arima suffers countless rape experiences and it affects her psyche, which eventually leads to her doing something terrible.
