New Trailer Alert: Ifu Ennada's 'Tears of a Broken Virgin'

Ifu Ennada releases the trailer of her debut short film 'Tears of a Broken Virgin', Produced and Written by Ifu Ennada, Directed by Benedict (Benny) Alli Atagagame. 
Tears of a Broken Virgin is about how a vengeful rape victim goes on an unconventional revenge mission and not even the marriage proposal from the rapist can change her mind.
The movie according to the producer was inspired by real event and asks everyone to join hands and fight it along with other gender based abuses.

New TV Series Alert: Seun Arowojolu's '90Gogoro'

There is so much to get you excited about 2017. The producers of Hit Sitcome SQUATTERZ are set to release first of its kind Era Based TV Series, a series totally babes in the 1990s titled 90GOGORO.
90Gogogro, a Family Sitcom will bring back nostalgic feelings of the 1990s. The sitcom focuses on the family of Patrick and Nike Igodomigodo as they relocate from Benin City to Lagos with their only daughter Pamela and Patrick's brother, Daniel.
Their foray into running a bakery left behind by nike's Father, hilarious drama from their neighbours Tamara and Tara makes 90Gogoro a pure joy to watch.
The series stars Veteran and Multiple awards winning actress, Rachel Oniga, Degri Emmanuel. Yinka Pearce, Chimezie Imo, Jennifer Igbinovia, Valery Dish.

New Music Video Alert: Stellla Damasus's 'Grateful'

The organisers of In-Short Film Festival calls for 2016 Entries

The organisers of the International Short Film Festival, In-Short, calls for entries for their 6th edition scheduled to hold on the 15th to 17th of December 2016 at Four Point by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Entries are invited from producers and owners of rights to both fictional short films and documentaries from around the world. The films, which should not be longer than 30 minutes in length, could also be experimental or student short films.
Submission deadline is 30th of November 2016.

Award Winning Filmmaker recently released the trailer of her star studded epic musical 'AYAMMA', the movie is described to be a fusion of culture and tradition. Shot in Akwa Ibom State, it stars Majid Michel, Wale Ojo, Adesua Etomi, Theresa Edem, Ekere Nkanga, Moses Armstrong and Imeh Bishop, Written by Vivian Chiji, Directed by Chris Eneaji, DOP Dawid Piet, Lighting Design Christian Epps.
It is scheduled to premiere December 23, 2016.

8 Nollywood set to shine at this year Toronto International Film Festival

This year has been a very memorable year for the Nigerian Movie Industry, Nollywood and the organisers of the Toronto International Film Festival chose Lagos for its 'City to City' Spotlight, 8 Nigerian movies were selected to premiere at TIFF this year, the festival is scheduled to hold between the 8th to 18th of September 2016.
There are: The Wedding Party, 93 Days, The Arbitration, Okafor's Law, 76, Green White Green, Just Not Married and Taxi Driver.
JAB Congratulates every Filmmaker that their movies made it into the festival, this is a very big opportunity for Nollywood.
