JAYGO drops yet another solid masterpiece beat titled GREATNESS

Segun Dada best known as JAYGO is a Nigerian born singer, song writer and actor. He is a graduate of Theatre and Music from the Lagos State University, Lagos.
He is gifted with a cool husky voice and an amazing ability to paint the most vivid emotions with his lyrics. He  took time to learn music as an 'art form', a foundation that is clearly identifiable when you listen to his music; you cannot miss the depth and the soul.
His passion for life, love and country informs the themes his songs are about; like a painter inspired by the realities of the world around him, Jaygo takes the very familiar and gives it a life that only music presents.
The apparent effortlessness with which he sings has stunned music lovers and listeners everywhere, suggestive of a talent well on his way to carving out a niche for himself in the Nigerian music space and beyond. In an industry where it has become fashionable to follow the trend and copy the 'flow' and 'style' of other artistes in an attempt to attain the same buzz, Jaygo stays true to an authenticity that instantly catches you off guard.
His talents and love for the arts run deep not only for music but also for acting, this he has proven right from his Secondary school days and he has since been a stage personality to reakon with, his stage performances and achievements includes: Wole Soyinka's 'The Lion and the Jewel', Ola Rotimi's 'Kurunmi' where he played the lead character, a command performance for the Lagos State University Convocation 2009, Wole Soyinka's 'The King's Horseman' where he played 'Pilkings' in 2008, Ola Rotimi's 'Gods are not to Blame' he played 'Rotimi', a Command Performance for the Ejigbo Local Government Swearing in ceremony 2009, Jason Vision, Renegade Theatre's 'A Season of Soyinka' which includes performances of plays like; The Swamp Dwellers, Kongi's Harvest, Madmen and Specialists and The Strong Breed in 2008, He played the lead Chanter in Ben Tomoloju's P.L.A.Y (Poetry Laughter Arts and You) - A poetry festival sponsored by GTBank to celebrate Nigerian's 50th Anniversary 2010, He played the singing Zulu Warrior in Ab'Origibal's 'Oluronbi-The Musical' sponsored by the Lagos State Government.
Jaygo won the Best Actor Award at the Socrates Award in 2009 and also the ATAS (Association of Theatre Arts Students) Best Actor Award successively for the years 2009 and 2010.
Obviously, he is an awesome actor and also a very unique, gifted and talented singer...His style of music is a hybrid of soul, hip-hop, dance, afro-pop with a heavy leaning on soft rock. In 2011, Jaygo released his debut single, 'Rubiewe' a soulful soft-rock masterpiece which resulted in massive amounts of downloads across the different music sharing sites and blogs, with matching radio airplay.
His new single, GREATNESS is the official theme song of the National Youth Merit Awards and is available for downloads on major music sites.
'GREATNESS' is an anthem that pays tribute the youths of this great nation, a celebration of the tenacious army of young people fighting to make their voices heard in spite of the shackles and limitations the system heaps on them.
