A new talented, unique and extremely creative young Filmmaker is born and he is called C.J. The FIERY ONE...

Chukwudi Joseph Obasi is a young Nigerian Filmmaker, Writer, Cinematographer, Editor and VFX. He hails from Abia State, but was born and raised in Owerri, Nigeria. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
C.J as he is called by a lot of people is also fondly called 'Fiery' or 'The Fiery One'. He grew up watching 'Hammer house of Horror films' and reading Stephen King. As a kid he developed the knack for drawing comics of all his favorite movies and superhero characters.
He quit his very lucrative IT job and decided to focus on what he loves doing, he delved into filmmaking full time, with his debut feature being 'JIM & JOAN.
A film that was literally made without a budget, however with the backing of his American friend, Benjamin Stockton, and Ark Resources Ltd. It was shot in his childhood home in Owerri, as well as some choice beach spots on Lagos Island.
C.J has previously worked on short films, documentaries, TV series and music videos as Director, Writer, Cinematographer and Editor.
He likes to insert old random footage or clips into virtually all his productions, he shoots almost all his scenes without a tripod, to create a shaky, unstable effect for his scenes.
This young vibrant, highly creative, innovative, intelligent and fresh filmmaker already has numerous projects in the pipeline which includes features, shorts, documentaries, music videos and graphic novels. His favorite filmmakers are Martin Scorcese, David Lynch, Quentin Tarantino, Lars von Trier, Darren Aranofsky, Stanley Kubrick, Sam Raimi, to mention but a few.
Watch out for this one his style is unique, different, raw talent in display and very innovative with the much desired change the Nigerian movie industry yearns for.
Jim & Joan would be hitting the cinema before the year runs out. Click on the link below to watch the trailer and make sure you spot the difference in style not like you can miss it anyway...Wink...
