New TV Series Alert: Seun Arowojolu's '90Gogoro'

There is so much to get you excited about 2017. The producers of Hit Sitcome SQUATTERZ are set to release first of its kind Era Based TV Series, a series totally babes in the 1990s titled 90GOGORO.
90Gogogro, a Family Sitcom will bring back nostalgic feelings of the 1990s. The sitcom focuses on the family of Patrick and Nike Igodomigodo as they relocate from Benin City to Lagos with their only daughter Pamela and Patrick's brother, Daniel.
Their foray into running a bakery left behind by nike's Father, hilarious drama from their neighbours Tamara and Tara makes 90Gogoro a pure joy to watch.
The series stars Veteran and Multiple awards winning actress, Rachel Oniga, Degri Emmanuel. Yinka Pearce, Chimezie Imo, Jennifer Igbinovia, Valery Dish.

New Music Video Alert: Stellla Damasus's 'Grateful'

In the spirit of gratitude, the official music video to the song GRATEFUL by American based Actress/Singer, Stella Damasus is out.
The song is from her recently released album, THE ALTERNATIVE and it is the official soundtrack to the movie BETWEEN, out in 2017, produced by Daniel Ademinokan & Stella Damasus for INDEX TWO STUDIOS.

The organisers of In-Short Film Festival calls for 2016 Entries

The organisers of the International Short Film Festival, In-Short, calls for entries for their 6th edition scheduled to hold on the 15th to 17th of December 2016 at Four Point by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Entries are invited from producers and owners of rights to both fictional short films and documentaries from around the world. The films, which should not be longer than 30 minutes in length, could also be experimental or student short films.
Submission deadline is 30th of November 2016.

8 Nollywood set to shine at this year Toronto International Film Festival

This year has been a very memorable year for the Nigerian Movie Industry, Nollywood and the organisers of the Toronto International Film Festival chose Lagos for its 'City to City' Spotlight, 8 Nigerian movies were selected to premiere at TIFF this year, the festival is scheduled to hold between the 8th to 18th of September 2016.
There are: The Wedding Party, 93 Days, The Arbitration, Okafor's Law, 76, Green White Green, Just Not Married and Taxi Driver.
JAB Congratulates every Filmmaker that their movies made it into the festival, this is a very big opportunity for Nollywood.

New Trailer Alert: Joshua Enakarhire's 'Beautiful Escape'

Mogson Productions releases the trailer for the movie 'Beautiful Escape', the movie is directed by Joshua Enakarhire, it stars Paul Adams, Judith Audu, Kunle Fawole, Ify Brown Monye, Constance Owoyemi, Mawuyo Ogun and a host of other fantastic actors.
BEAUTIFUL ESCAPE tells the story of a Naval Captain Timothy (Paul Adams) who went emotionally numb after the tragic loss of his wife; he cuts away from his extended family for about 10 years, but when his favourite niece and God daughter (Kiki) is about to wed he chooses to come back home, just for the wedding. Nina (Judith Audu) in a bit to help Timothy, overcome his attachment with his late wife, she falls in love with him, and the dynamics of their lives sooner than you know it brings them closer...Maybe closer than they ever bargained for, but Timothy comes face to face with all of the fears guilt that has made him loathe the word 'love' in exchange for the Beautiful Escape.

From the director of 'Save Me' comes another mind blowing short titled 'Entrust'. Directed by Stanley Aguzie, it stars Big-Tony Ogbetere, Uchechi Esiagu, Idiatat O Idiata, Stella Nkwocha, Dan Dollars Daniel, Okeke Obunike Chris, Adaeze Esiagu, Queeneth Esiagu and Onyinyechi Adiodo.
Entrust is based on a true life story of a young girl, who suffered rape, abuse, molestation, assault and child labour in the hands of her guardians who had promised her a better life.
The director, Stanley Aguzie says until everyone choose to speak up, child rape, abuse, molestation and child labour will not stop, everyday children go through this trauma in the hands of their supposed guardians. Child rape is in the increase in Africa. Like the case of Ese i heard the man who raped her was realeased from the police custody to go live his life. while little Ese suffer the trauma of an abused child, take a deep consideration what happens to this children afterwards.
Let us all support the fight against rape, child abuse, child molestation and child labour. Don't turn your face away from this because its happening around you, ask questions, report offenders. Every child deserves a better life.
